测试方法:
方法A: 针对挥发性化学试剂。采用预浸过化学试剂的棉球,放置于容积为1盎司的瓶中(10mm x 75mm的试管或类似的容器)。 该瓶倒置于所测试的材料表面持续24小时。测试温度为:23o +/- 2oC (73o +/- 4oF)。这种方法适用于有机试剂。

Method A – for volatile chemicals. A cotton ball, saturated with the test chemical, was placed in a one ounce bottle (10mm x 75mm test tube or similar container). The container was inverted on the test material surface for a period of 24 hours. Temperature of test: 23o +/- 2oC (73o +/- 4oF). This method was used for the organic solvents.

方法 B: 针对不挥发的化学试剂。将5滴(1/4cc)化学试剂置于所测试材料的表面。然后用25mm的表面皿覆盖于化学试剂上持续24小时。测试温度为:23o +/- 2oC (73o +/- 4oF)。这种方法适用于所列示的除溶剂外的其他试剂。

Method B – for non-volatile chemicals. Five drops (1/4cc) of the test chemical were placed on the test material surface. The chemical was covered with a watch glass (25mm) for a period of 24 hours. Temperature of test: 23o +/- 2oC (73o +/- 4oF). This method was used for all chemicals listed below other than the solvents.

Evaluation – After 24 hour exposure, exposed areas were washed with water , then a detergent solution and finally with isopropyl alcohol, rinsed with distilled water and dried with a cloth.
测试评分

2 – 优 秀: 在颜色与光泽方面有轻微可察觉的改变,但对材料表面的功能与寿命无影响。
3 – 较 好: 颜色与光泽有清晰可辨的改变,但对材料表面的功能与寿命无重要影响。
4 – 一 般: 由于变色或腐蚀,外观有不雅改变。如果延长测试时间,有可能造成功能的损毁。
5 – 失 败: 表面出现斑痕、坑凹或侵蚀,明显且重要的材料损毁。

1 – No Effect: No detectable change in the material surface.
2 – Excellent: Slight detectable change in color or gloss but no change in function or life of the surface.
3 – Good: A clearly discernable change in color or gloss but no significant impairment of surface life or function.
4 – Fair: Objectionable change in appearance due to discoloration or etch, possibly resulting in deterioration of function over an extended period of time.
5 – Failure: Pitting, cratering, or erosion of the surface. Obvious and significant deterioration.

抗高温性能测试

测试A:陶瓷坩埚。将置于所测试材料表面的陶瓷坩埚,加热至暗红色然后让其冷却,温度降至室温。
Test A: porcelain Crucible – A porcelain crucible was heated to a dull red color, placed on the test material, and allowed to cool to ambient temperature.
观测结果:无起泡,裂缝或任何表面变形。
Observation: No blisters, no cracks nor any surface deformations were observed on the work surface.

测试B:煤气喷灯。将一个3/8〞 的煤气喷灯调到稳定的火焰使其蓝色锥形内焰为1-1/2〞,然后,将煤气喷灯翻转,是火焰接触所测试的材料5分钟。
Test B: Bunsen Burner A 3/8〞Bunsen burner was adjusted to a quiet flame with a 1-1/2〞inner blue cone and then overturned on the test material, exposing material to the flame for 5 minutes.
观测结果:无起泡或裂缝。

Observation: No blisters nor cracks were detected on the exposed work surface.
